Though I've selected a mission from the (legacy) board direct from my ship. Can't find black box. The mission said I could find targets by the nav beacon, in USSs, and rez sites. It is not endorsed by nor reflects the views. If you still don't get it after 5 mins, exit the game completely and restart it. You have to get down close to the planet surface (after Glide Mode) to target the beacon in normal flight mode (not supercruise mode). Lock onto one and navigate to it just as you would to a station. Flew back with FSD to where I got my mission, to the original nav beacon, and to the system I had to. I'm currently doing a bounty, and so went to scan the nav beacon. Flying around won't do it. It should only be about 1km away from the waypoint. When you drop from SC, immediately target the (NAV Beacon) WHITE. Once you scan these two data points, and liberate the raw materials from the doomed ship, log out to main.
